Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum

Located in Lincoln Park, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum showcases the natural world through face to face animal encounters and interactive exhibits. Discover and explore the ecological history of Illinois while enjoying some family time in the beauty of nature. Featuring over 200 species of exotic and ingenious Illinois butterflies, the butterfly house is a unique effort focused on the study and breeding of butterflies for populating the Chicago region.
